Officials said Raghavji was lodged in barrack number 10 in B block which is mainly for undertrials and is divided into two parts. In 2006, he had inaugurated the first part with 12 barracks where a plaque bears his name. The octogenarian leader had visited the jail several times in the past as a minister and was present when inmates made a huge solar heater in 2010. During his visits, Raghavji would tell prisoners not to indulge in any unlawful act that could land them in jail in future.
